Andrew Umbers
Chief Executive Officer, Evolution Securities
Andrew has over 20 years experience of working in UK equity markets, principally with Credit Suisse since its acquisition of BZW, which he joined in 1990. He was appointed a Managing Director of Credit Suisse Equities in 2000, and in 2005 he joined Credit Suisse’s global hedge fund, Modal Capital.

Tim Worlledge
Head of Corporate Finance & Corporate Broking
Tim qualified as a chartered accountant with Whinney Murray (now Ernst & Young) and has since had over 25 years’ experience in investment banking and corporate broking, working with growth companies. He has a wide range of experience in the small and mid cap market, having completed over 50 IPOs, including a number of US and other non UK companies, numerous fundraisings and other secondary transactions as well as having advised on many takeover situations, restructurings and reorganisations.

Jason Streets
Head of Equity Research
Jason started work in the City in 1985 after reading Law at Cambridge University. His first seven years were spent on the buy side, lastly at Kleinwort’s as a small cap fund manager. Since then he has been on the sell side covering Leisure, Internet, Media and most recently General Financials. He joined Evolution Securities in October 2006 having spent the previous nine years at UBS Warburg.

Keith Hiscock
Joint Head of Institutional Equity Sales
Keith joined Evolution in October 2007 after five years at Panmure Gordon where he was Head of Sales. Before that he was one of the first members of the team which successfully established Schroder Securities in the UK market and which later formed part of Schroder Salomon Smith Barney.
In addition to developing and managing institutional client relationships he has been extensively involved in helping corporate clients to effect transactions and communicate with their shareholders
Keith started his career in the broking industry in 1980 as a graduate trainee at James Capel. He holds an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and is a Fellow of the Securities Institute.

Paul Miskin
Joint Head of Institutional Equity Sales
Paul joined Evolution in October 2007 having spent three years at Panmure Gordon where he was Head of Equities. He worked for Citigroup from 1996 to 2004, initially recruited to build a UK equity sales desk in London for Salomon Brothers. Whilst at Citigroup Paul established a European Equity desk in Boston, USA. Previously Paul worked for Merrill Lynch in equity sales and sales trading and for Brown, Shipley & Co Ltd in corporate finance. Furthermore, in 1988 Paul was MD of Fuel Technology, a private company involved with the supply and manufacture of fuel additives, which was sold in 1990 to a European conglomerate.

John Bennett
Head of Sales Trading
John joined Evolution Securities Limited in April 2004. Prior to this John spent six years at TD Waterhouse as Head of Sales Trading having previously worked for eleven years in the industry at Granville and BWD Rensburg Limited.

Mark McDowell
Head of Market Making
Before becoming acting Head of Trading in January 2008, Mark traded the Evolution Mining, Oil & Gas trading book. Mark joined Evolution Securities from Merrill Lynch in September 2004 where he traded many sectors within Merrill Lynch following its acquisition of Smith New Court (SNC) in 1995. Prior to the acquisition he worked on SNC’s trading floor from 1992, which at that time had a significant market share of the UK equity market.

Dick Warburton
Head of Fixed Income
Dick has worked in the bond market for 25 years. He was a Partner at Laurie Millbank and a Director of Chase Manhattan Securities specialising in Fixed Income. He was a Divisional Director of SG Warburg Securities before joining Williams de Broë in 1991 where he was in charge of Fixed Income from 1995 and continues in this role following the acquisition of Williams de Broë by Evolution.

Tim Valmas
Chief Operating Officer
Tim joined the Group in December 2001. Prior to joining Evolution Tim was at Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs where he worked in the listed and OTC derivatives division for five years. Since joining Evolution Tim has managed the integration of Beeson Gregory in 2002 and Williams de Broë in 2006. Both projects have been instrumental in the expansion and development of the Group over the last 6 years. He is a graduate of Kingston University in Business Information Technology.
